The city government has approved the construction of an amusement theme park on Multan Road that will be “Pakistan’s biggest family entertainment project,” said District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal on Wednesday.
The administration of the proposed Wonder World Land gave the DCO and a “high-level design committee” a detailed briefing on the project at the Town Hall, according to a press release.
The project will be built by a private company in three phases, with the first phase to be completed before Eidul Fitr (due around August 8) at a cost of Rs50 million.
“The administration would utilise NASA technology for the entertainment of families,” claimed the press release.
The DCO and the committee assured their support to the administration. The DCO also approved the construction design of the Mobo Tower and a farm house by Orient Electronics.
The executive district officer (Works and Services), the district officer (Special Planning) and town municipal officers attended the meeting.

O bhai Come out of Lahore. People of whole Punjab are getting sick and tired that the major chunk of the Punjab's development budget is spent on less than 10 million people in Lahore by PMLN and the rest 70 Million Approx are then told to be happy with peanuts like Danish schools and some Publicity stunt projects. I have visited many Places in Punjab recently and PPPP have the full potential to win more seats than they won in the past because of the indifference of PMLN and their short sighted Lahore Focused approach.
