Living conditions: Nursing students protest food quality

At least 100 students of a nursing school on Tuesday protested against the quality of food at the mess. The students at district hospital said that they paid Rs1400 each per month for food and deserved better.

They said they had not been served rice or meat for 18 days. The protesting students refused to work until District Health Officer Imtiaz Ahmed Chattha could guarantee improved food quality.
