Mysterious killing: Body recovered

Doctors say the victim was shot dead and the body was set alight.

HARIPUR: The body of a man who went missing a week back, was recovered on Monday. Police quoted Abdul Rehman, a retired bank officer at Bhatt Beer village, as saying that his son, Romail, 24, a student of University of Haripur, left for university a week back but did not reach the university nor home. Upon search, Rehman failed to find any clue of his son. However, on Sunday, he was informed that a mutilated body was recovered in a village suburb. When he reached there, he identified the body of his son. Doctors said the victim was shot dead and the body was set alight.
