Stay at home: Most private schools closed today

KARACHI: After the bomb blast rocked Sharae Faisal on Monday night, three private school management associations announced that all educational institutions under them will remain closed on Tuesday (today). The announcement was made by the chairpersons of All Private Schools Management Association, Private Schools Management Association and Peak Private Schools Management Association. The deteriorating law and order situation in the city was cited as the reason of the closure. Some private schools, including Beaconhouse School System, Mama Parsi, Happy Home, Habib Public School, BVS and Al Murtaza schools were still considering whether to hold classes on Tuesday and would inform their students if they decide to close.
