SUKKUR: Former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday stated that if the allegations levelled by the Mutahidda Quami Movement against the Pakistan Peoples Party harbouring terrorists in Karachi were true, law and order situation in the city will not change. Talking to the media at the Sukkur airport he blamed the Sindh government for not doing anything for the welfare of the people. He speculated that MQM’s decision might be a plan to nominate the caretaker chief minister of their choice and get desired results in the coming general elections. He added that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf was against the dissolution of the election commission and just wanted the ECP to be independent.
