Criticism: PTI calls ANP’s moot a political stunt
The formation of a consensus on how to deal with terrorists should be left to the upcoming government, says Farman.
PESHAWAR:
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial spokesperson Shah Farman said the all-parties conference (APC) convened by the Awami National Party (ANP) was a politically motivated stunt aimed at face-saving. On Friday, Farman said the ANP leaders remained aloof to the deplorable law and order in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and failed to quell terrorism in their five-year rule. “The present assemblies are about to be dissolved in a month, an initiative like this will hardly have significance,” he said, adding the formation of a consensus on how to deal with terrorists should be left to the upcoming government.
