FAISALABAD:

Hundreds of railway employees and their families on Tuesday staged a demonstration against the disconnection of electricity supply to railway colonies.

The protestors blocked the railway track and chanted slogans against the railway authorities. The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) had disconnected electricity supply to railway colonies on Monday due to nonpayment of bills. FESCO spokesman said that requests to deposit outstanding amount were repeatedly sent to railway authorities.
