SUKKUR: Two men, Sajjad Ahmed Noonari and Mevo Khoso, who had been kidnapped in January, were traced by the police after a raid on the Sindh-Balochistan border on Tuesday.

Noonari was kidnapped 28 days ago near Thull, in the jurisdiction of Kareem Bux police station and Khoso was kidnapped 15 days ago, when he was on his way to Sukkur from Thull.

The kidnappers, who managed to escape, allegedly released the two men because they were poor and couldn’t afford to pay the ransom. In a separate incident, a poultry seller of Kandhkot, Muhammad Umer Noonari, and his driver, Abdul Wahab, were kidnapped from Saifal Laro, near Tangwani, on Wednesday. The case is still being investigated.
