The applications were moved by former minister Ghulam Sarwar and Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE) officials.
When the court resumed hearing on Tuesday, a law officer requested the court to cancel the bail. The ACE should be allowed to arrest them, he said.
The former minister’s counsel denied the allegations submitting that the case was registered on account of political rivalry. Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) had unlawfully registered a case against former minister, former chairman of PBTE, its secretary and two other officials for issuing duplicate diplomas.
