Separate Incidents: Two dead; house robbed

A 20-year-old man committed suicide and another found dead in different areas of Taxila during the last 24 hours.



In the first incident, Abdullah, 20, shot himself with a pistol fire over a domestic issue, police said. The police quoted Abdullah’s family as saying that he was in distress for the last couple of weeks over a domestic issue.

Meanwhile, a drug addict, in his 30s, was found dead on a road side. The incident came to light when a passerby spotted the body and informed the police who shifted it to hospital. Over dose of drug caused his death, autopsy report suggested.

Moreover, Sabir lodged a report with the same police that three armed robbers broke into his house in Lane No.10 and held the inmates hostage. They ransacked the house after locking the inmates in a room and made away with a laptop computer, three mobile phones, Rs5,000, a camera, jewellery, and valuables.
