KARACHI: Members of the party should actively participate in eliminating the corrupt political system of Pakistan, said Altaf Hussain, the chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), in a telephone conversation with members of the party’s coordination committee.

“MQM should work to end this system which allows feudals to reign over the country,” he explained. He mentioned that MQM will participate in the upcoming general elections and asked people to protect MQM from internal and external threats. Hussain, who is recovering from a chest ailment, also thanked the supporters for praying for his health.
