A protest march from Quaid’s mausoleum to Tibet Centre will be organised by various opposition parties on February 10 to condemn the violation of the apex court’s verdict in the voter verification process, said the Karachi chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Muhammad Hussain Mahenti, on Friday.
Mahenti alleged that Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin Ebrahim’s failure to comply with Supreme Court’s verdict will be equivalent to patronising the terrorists. The objective of the protest march is to demand the commission to rectify the electoral lists in the presence of army personnel, he added.
