Chaudhry Nisar came all out and reminded the public that, “PTI had earlier supported the CEC [chief election commissioner] and the election bill. Imran Khan had shown full faith in Fakhruddin G Ebrahim and now he has reservations just like Tahirul Qadri.”
Nisar said, "PTI always boasted of not forming any allegiance with any party then why sudden tilt towards Tahirul Qadri."
In a joint press conference on Wednesday, both Qadri and PTI leaders had supported each others' call for the reconstitution of the election commission and vowed to jointly rid the country of the ‘corrupt’ and ‘cruel’ political system.
Chaudhry Nisar further blamed the PTI for accepting former president Pervez Musharraf in the past and his chosen election commissioner Irshad Hassan Khan whose eligibility was questionable as he had postponed elections for three years and allowed amendments in the Constitution.
He alleged, “These three parties, MQI, PTI and Pakistan Muslim League - Quaid (PML-Q) want to postpone elections hence, they are bringing up all these reservations.”
He concluded by saying, “Imran Khan cannot bring a tsunami in a teacup and PTI has become a party of contradictions rather than a party of justice.”

The rest are permanent members of the NATO (No Action Talk Only) club, except for Zardari. He is one man who has talked the least has gained the most. Have you noticed, all the rest are talking on all TV shows on a daily basis. He is clever, he listens to all and does what he needs to do, to put them in place without much taliking. He is focused. Although Nawaz should get credit for allowing the Govt. to complete its term without rocking it, Asif is taking that credit too.
If PTI and Qadri were serious about clean elections, they should be out helping ECP in Karachi mess but no they have bigger fish to fry.

Smaller parties and their leaders have lots of guts. With no responsibility and hope to win election, they can say whatever comes to their small brains. 18 is still a too large number for PTI. Imran with his one seat will be the Prime Minister and cabinet. All in one

IK is an immature and confused person. Nawaz Shareef and PML-N, on the other hand is a mature and consistent politician. PML-N apparently has learned from their mistakes in the past, they have the best team and seem to be best suited for the mega challenges ahead of this country. Let's come out of the misguiding, idealistic fold ...

Which of Election Commision's orders are being implemented so far by the government and the opposition at the moment?for example distrubution of funds still continue, what about a PML-N MNA from NA-48 who ran away from police custody why isnt he disqualified or suspended? Jamshed Dasti who was caught up in a fake degree case got re elected and is still unpunished. Zardari using two offices and just a 2 year punishment to Waheeda Shah who attacked Election officials and what about the displaying of arms at by-elections all the time and there are many other examples....what has Fakhru Bhai done about these incidents?
I for once would like a more transparent election commission for fair accountability and fair scrutiny. And why is PML-N having a problem with Tahir ul Qadri because he also holds a Pakistani passport at the same time as he holds a Candian one and has every right to point out faults within our governing system.

PTI should restore its control over its members and keep an eye on such internal elements which create defamation for party... It must keep away from alliance with Dr.Qadri. It will lead to spoil PTI image in the minds majority of people who know the political history of PAT and Dr.Qadri. It is as “multiplication of a million with zero” which nullifies the effect of a million..PTI is going to lose its own credibility if not refrains form Dr.Qadri...
PTI has great potential but Imran Khan seems to be lacking a sound political experience here. He is over zealous, which is not a bad thing when you are in power, not outside it and known for boycotting elections. it will make sense if they form an alliance of some sort. no matter what they do , it is likely the way forward for them.
No one is perfect and there are enough corrupt elements in PTI as well. Unfortunately we do not have any saints in our politics and that is the fact. so Imran in power can bring corruption down to a massive extent and cannot erase it. but for that to happen, let a damn election take place.

Strange reservation by PTI, CEC is ok but not other members & what CEC has said yesterday about his members that he has full confidence on the integrity of all his members as well as the procedure adopted for their selection was as per constitution than why PTI/ IK is crying......
Imran khan NEVER said he will not make any allies. He just said he will not make allies with any of the parties which is in power right now. Ch. Nisar should not lie at least.

anybody knows these 4 provincial election commissioners or is it just opposing because everybody opposng. who do they support? which parties they belong to?why is federal election commissioner silent over them? remember he is the man who didnt take oath under General Zia so i think dear is not a factor here.

Chaudhry Nisar should be worried about his own party. No need to comment on others.
PTI have no reservations about Fakhru Bhai, the same however can't be said about the other four EC members. Fakhru Bhai is just one of the five EC members and clearly out voted 4 to 1 in decision making.
PTI has NO reservations about CEC, they are concerned about hand picked EC Provincial Heads. Pakistn MukMuka League is worried about someone who "can't even bring Tsunami in a Tea cup". Enough said!

absolutely agree... PTI slowly disappointing the people with their internal bickering.
PTI appears to be on the decline whereas PMLN graph is going up which is giving jitters to the former. Nisar's observation regarding postponement of elections is correct but backing of an establishment/s behind these parties cannot be ruled out.
