With a membership of 600 teachers and students, the PES shares the latest technological developments in the electric power industry in order to develop standards that guide the development and construction of equipment and systems.
On Thursday, vice chancellor Dr Aslam Uqaili said that the PES’s scope includes research and development, planning, design, construction, maintenance, installation and operation of equipment.
He said that MUET is the first engineering university in Sindh to open a PES chapter.
