Gutted down: Fire breaks out at warehouse in Landhi

SHO says no case is registered, as it was apparently an accident.

KARACHI: No casualties were reported after a fire broke out at a plastic warehouse in the Landhi Export Processing Zone on Tuesday.

The building went up in flames around 4pm, and it took six fire tenders at least two and a half hours to extinguish the fire.

A heavy contingent of law enforcers reached the site and cleared the area of onlookers.However, they have yet to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.

SHO Sarfaraz Kakazai added that no case was registered, as it was apparently an accident.
