The city witnessed a cocktail of weather with high speed winds, rain showers and bright sunlight. Dawn broke with the noise of thunder and high speed winds which continued till 8pm.
Boards and banners along side Metro Bus Service tracks were blown off.
According to Met officials, the highest wind speed recorded was 60 kilometres per hour. Met Director Sahabzada Khan said that clouds would clear by Wednesday night. He said no more rain was expected anytime soon.
