The match, which took place in Cuttack, India, was Pakistan's third defeat at the World Cup.
With two defeats each for both Pakistan and South Africa, the match was a do-or-die situation for both teams.

@indian As if your women got the cup. They are knocked out too.
no worry india team is out too now pakistan and india can play for 7th position game. It will be a revenge game
@Aijaz Haider : The best way Pakistan can give a "Mouth Breaking" Response to India is for Pakistan to refuse to play agains all Indian Sports Teams - be they Men's or Womens' Teams - in any Part of the World. . This will cause Unprecedented Damage to Indian Sports and I am sure that the Indian Government will give Pakistan, Kashmir, Siachin, Sir Creek and even let Pakistan to Fly its National Flag on Red Fort. . Cheers
@Aijaz Haider: lol......what has that to do with performance........simple to understand....their skills and practice was pathetic!!! ...:)
It's not their fault - they were confined to the stadium 24/7.
