More than 200 teachers have set a hunger strike camp outside the Quetta Press Club for the last one week exerting pressure on the government to make all teacher packages permanent.
Hooqoq Teachers Association media advisor Abdul Khaliq, who held negotiations with the government, told media that negotiations over their regularisation had failed.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi took notice of the protest and asked chief secretary to make a comprehensive case and forward it to the federal government.
