An additional district and sessions judge has fixed February 7 for arguments on the after-arrest bails of four men accused of publishing allegedly blasphemous books about the Ahmadi faith.
Moeed Ayaz, Asmatullah, Razaullah and Ghulamullah, employees of Black Arrow Printing Press, were arrested on January 7 as they loaded a small truck with thousands of books and CDs. The four accused are Ahmadis. Arrest warrants have been issued for the printing press’s owner, who is at large.
The lawyer for the accused, in their post-arrest bail pleas, said that local police had acted illegally against his clients as they had arrested them on the basis of a call made to 15 before an FIR had been registered, as was evident from the statement of the complainant.
He said that even if the complaint were true, his clients should have been charged under Sections 6 (literal distortion of ayah text), 7 (translation or interpretation of Holy Quran contrary to belief of Muslims) and 9 (penalty) of the Punjab Holy Quran (Printing and Recording) Act of 2011 – which carry a maximum penalty of three years in prison – rather than Sections 295B (defiling the Holy Quran) and 298C (an Ahmadi calling himself a Muslim or preaching his faith) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), which carry a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
At their remand hearing before a magistrate, Advocate Chaudhry Ghulam Mustafa, the lawyer for the complainant, contended that the accused were planning to distribute the “blasphemous literature” in various markets. The magistrate remanded them in judicial custody for 14 days.
The FIR was registered on the complaint of Muhammad Tayyab. Islampura police confiscated the material and truck and registered a case against the men on January 7 under Sections 295B and 298C of the PPC, as well as Section 24A of the Press and Publications Ordinance, though the ordinance was repealed in 2002.
Advocate Mustafa, the lawyer for the complainant, told The Express Tribune that his client, who lived in the same area as the printing press, had heard about the material being published and called the police when he saw books being loaded into a truck there on January 7.
He said that he had filed an application with the magistrate seeking the inclusion of Section 295C (making derogatory remarks about the Holy Prophet (pbuh)) of the PPC – which is punishable by death in the charges against the accused. On his application, the magistrate had ordered the investigation officer to proceed in accordance with the law.

best example of Pakistani tolerance of Minorities
John Joseph (15 November 1932 – 6 May 1998) was the Roman Catholic Bishop of Faisalabad from 1984–1998 and was best known for committing suicide to protest the cruel treatment of Christians by Pakistani Muslims.
@Usman:
I dobt if they are 'conspirotors'. Pakistan has has laws for conspiratorsw. Were they conspirators, relevant law could be applied. It is awkward way of handing matters which are non issues. It only gives bad name to Pakistan and also to Islam.
If one is not innocent and is a conspirator, it should be handled on case to case basis and should not be generalized.
One is muslim or not is only with God. Let them call what they want to be called. We have so many Mushriks among Hindus, Muslims Jews, Christians etc. Our Mushrikeen call themselves muslims. A muslim is one who does not associate partners with God. He obeys god by following Gods message. Most of Muslims do not understand message of God.
Usman the constitution provides freedom of expression and freedom of relgious obligations. They are Pakistanis and should enjoy the respect a Pakistani deserves..
It's a good thing at least something is being done about these conspirators. And for those idiots who keep calling these Qadyanis "Innocents" , Qadyanis are more than welcome to practice their faith in Pakistan, as long as they do not pronounce themselves as Muslims. It's pretty simple, just like Christians have been living in Pakistan; the question a "Muslim" has to ask himself is "Why Qadyanis?" . Because they are not Muslim and they profess and propagate their faith as "Islam". For all those Mullah Bashers, well we already know you're qadyanis so dont hide behind a Muslim name, come out and tell the truth.
We in the developed world wonder whether a country such as Pakistan should be allowed to exist because the resources are limited. These resources are better spent on human beings rather than the mutation called the Paki Nation.
I had been feeling sorry for this pathetic nation because the way it is being robbed by its ruling elite. After reading this news I actually feel quite jubilant because I see the justice. Rulers fit the ruled. So I hope and I wish that the next government is even more corrupt and the Paki Nation is put through even harsher conditions.
What a disgusting nation. Do you not realize that these people could have published the material in another country and had it distributed without getting implicated.
The more this nation suffers the more justice is being done.
From my blog: http://www.thetrueperspective.com/2013/01/i-am-sorry-shiites-i-am-sorry-for.html
The biggest in sin in Quran is SHIRK. Where is the legislation on that?
@Iqbal: Interesting who warned Jinnah? Considering he was a shia his minority are sadly the most persecuted. I wonder if this persecution also existed pre-partition days.
most of the time these extremists misusing the law for personal enmity state should be car full in deal such case , high care should be given, in Salaman Taseer case these people misused the termed of media report and killed him like a state sponsored killing by Punjab govt, no one must allowed to misuse any law against any citizen of Pakistan, Ahmadees are citizen of Pakistan they are as sincere as any one can be better than these extremists in society nothing such heard about them, media should play fair role
Only SHIRK or associating partners with God Almighty is blasphemy. The blasphemy law in Pakistan does not take notice of it.
@Yasir Mian: It is all Rubbish. I have gone through many translations of the Holy Quraan made by many other muslim sects of Pakistan. Every sect has translated according to their belief. As for as blasphemy is concerned every person who is a Muslim and drinks wine and commits sins and crimes punishable under law is committing an act of blaspehmy.
Alas they do not know who is a muslim in real and who is a none muslim.
@Tahir: They are rather Mushrik. Allah says:
Always) Turning in repentance to Him (only), and be afraid and dutiful to Him; and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and be not of Al-Mushrikun those who split up their religion , and became sects, each sect rejoicing in that which is with it. (Quran. 30:31-32)
@Gulam Rasool "Kuldeep sharma": May be wrong. It was not decision of the people who live now. They should behave.
@Clear Black Bag: Let them believe.
@Ahmadiat Zindabad: Yes Zindabad. What is the true Islam?
It is so easy in Pakistan to put someone in trouble by filing blasphemy cases against people from different sects. Those who made the blasphemy law were themselves known as corrupt and liars. They had little knowledge of the teachings of Islam. They must learn the meaning of the Holy Quran, Hadith and sunnah before declaring others as non Muslims. Who has given them this right? Religion and faith is between Man and God.
Quaid e Azam was a great ,honest, hardworking and broad minded leader who worked day and night for the welfare of Muslims but today thankless people of Pakistan who do not know the history are trying to speak against our great leader. Quaid E Azam. Zinda baad,Pakistan Painda baad.
Have you seen these changes with your own eyes? Who are you to say such phrases that they should be punished. Its responsibility of court of law.
You just wait for your turn
@Yasir Mian:
Gentlemen and women, This persecution (now for Ahmadies and later will be for all other sets as well) will continue up till all Pakistanis will not stand firmly against such laws.
@All Pakistanis
Creation of Pakistan was Really a Wrong decision. In India Everyone have constitutional & "PRACTICAL" right. You are free to follow any Religion.Gulam Rasool "Kuldeep sharma" New Delhi
@shaista Good to see Shaista getting some serious flak for their most ignorant comment by some moderate, sensible Pakistanis. All is not lost just but peaceful Pakistanis are a tiny minority themselves now, it seems; people like Shaista are here to spread venom in the society.
I am sure Jinnah is still scratching his head and pondering on how naive was he?? or Shall I say, how cunning was he, and smirking ?? !!
@Mirza Nasir: Its all RELATIVE what is a distorted version.
Whats the matter with Mullahs. Niether do they live in peace (Islam) nor do they allow others to live. How can they call them selves Muslims??? Pakistan is not doomed by corrupt politicians but corrupt clerics followed by mentally corrupt public!!
@Adnan:
Regardless of individual beliefs, the uncontroversial fundamental tenant for a Muslim is to proclaim the Kalima, which the Ahmadi Muslims do with utmost sincerity, striving, hoping, and praying that Allah SWT will count them as Muslim on the day of judgement. Every one else is simply irrelevant.
@Clear Black Bag: Christianity is a version of judaism. you don't see jews loosing their heads and blaming christians of blasphemy...
its good if they are doing against the Law anything but should be careful must not be a conspiracy to distributed minorities as its happened in Pakistan due to the religious fantasy, what about those who were printing different books in the name of shia and Ahmadees, Christians in Peshawarfor last 16 years, any updates???
@Ha It is our duty to understand the message of God either through translation or through learning Arabic language. Not only understanding but to convey the message to others. Quran should not be monoploy of Maududi, Dr. Israr etc. It was not revealed for them only.
We can not say that in front of Allah that we did not understand the message and we are Muslims.
Ok, enough is enough. Time for those with a semblence of sense and human decency to stand up and say that the very concept of killing someone just for saying something is beyond silly, it is strong textsheer evilstrong text. In what mindset can we think that just because someone has a different viewpoint from us, or even if they "insult" us or someone we reveres we have the right to KILL that person?
Time to stop beating about the bush. The problem is not with the way the blasphemy law is enforced. The very fact that our people consider it normal and sane to have a law that kills people for having a POINT OF VIEW is absolute proof that our country needs to be wiped off the face of the earth. I say this with all seriousness. The world can do without such ultra-evil and stupid mindsets.
@usman ahmed: who are u to define what they should be called...??? we have shia sunni barelvi etc but never heard of tandlianwalwi, jalandhari faisalabadi etc firqas,,,,...get my point....call the name which a firqa claims to be
@jugnoo: Jugnu Sahib. Muslims do not print distorted versions of Bible. Therefore tell your group not to print distorted version of Quran.
@shaista: Not a good advice! You know what the Germans are gonna say to you, shahista? You need help, professional help! Now if you asked the majority of the world, they'll definitely agree. Stop spreading hate in my country. Pakistan belongs to all her citizens regardless of religion(as per the constitution).
What can Ahmdis say axcept, " Allahumaa Inna Najaluka fee nahurihim wa nauuDhibika min shuruurihim" . Ameen yaa Rabul Aalameen.
Surely Allah the Almighty and just is all capable of saving these four innocent individuals from the jaws of unjust people.
He is our only refuge against every discrimination
@Shaista..... Why don't you print your books and other stuffs from Mecca and Madina....Just for the record I'm a Sunni Muslim and have complete respect for Ahmadis and other minorities.
@Vikas: that is insane vikas.
Yes! The Ahmaddiyya community must be allowed to practice their religion. No compromise on this. It is their right. They can practice whatever in their temples / place of worship, they must have the full right and liberty.
But Ahmadiya community has to make sure that they do not play with fire by printing the distorted version of Holy Book of the Muslims. If they do this than there will be no peace for them.
@Faraz: Please, please, please: Do not give these idiots ideas and have mercy on the poor people in Germany - or any other Western country come to that! There are other countries which better fit these people's kind of lifestyle, like Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan or some places in Africa!
Pakistani intellectual mass must awake.....and wage Jihad against Mullaiyyat to save Pakistan.
@shaista: You are so "charming" in your self-righteousness. Just get the ideological fog out of your head and get a life!
Every Muslim belonging to one sect considers other Muslims following different sect , a non Muslim.A logical result of the decision made by this unfortunate nation to declare Ahmadis Non Muslim. Kafir tenoon Kafir Kehndey Bullia toon Aho Aho keh.
first of all they be refered as Qadianies not Ahmedies, the case is in the court of law, let them investigate and decide. we donot know the fact how can we comment. if the story narrated is true then they must be punished including the owner of printing press. noone can be allowed to make changes in Quran or in the religious believes.
"Advocate Chaudhry Ghulam Mustafa, the lawyer for the complainant, contended that the accused were planning to distribute the “blasphemous literature” in various markets."
Can this lawyer prove which market? I am an Ahmadi, and non of our material is available in any market, bookstore, etc. These printings are distributed to the Ahmedi families directly.
Secondly, they are saying that words have been changed, etc. Can we have a neutral party translate what has been written?
Land of the PURE NAzis all over again. Nazi killed the jews, gypsys, and anyone non comforming to their views, Pakistanis (not all) are doing the same to the Ahmedi communties in Pakistan.
Even at work, I hide my faith. Even then when I greet someone, i usually say Hi, Hey, Hello, Kaisa hai, good morning, how are you? but not Salam...Sared if I say SAlam, which is a muslim greeting, and someone in our office who comes from a different school of thought can create problems.
Even as an Ahmadi, I want our heads exiled in London to protest in front of Pak Embassy's everywhere. Create awareness before all this leads to anarchy here.
@Yasir Mian
Clearly you are incapable of seeing the difference between the Quran and its translation. While no doubt exists that the Quran is the word of God, its translations have been done by humans within the limits of their understanding. Therefore a Quranic translation is in no way DIVINE. Therefore to condemn the Ahmadis for distorting the translation of the Quran is nothing short of ignorance.
Anyhow as far as this matter is concerned, it is very clear that the extremist and violent elements of Pakistan have won a clear victory since not a single person from the authorities is willing to speak the truth. The truth is quite simply that the entire procedure through which these people stand accused of a crime is flawed and not in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. But when it comes to the matter of blasphemy in Pakistan, lawful procedure, justice and basic rights of human beings are thrown out the window to appease the violent and hateful elements in this society.
Well why so much cry on Ahmadi's, is every one else in this country is treated fairly by the law. The overall legal and social fabric of the country is non-existent. No one is secure either Ahmadi's or non-Ahmadis. All crying babies pls stop abusing Pakistan, as it is the biggest blessing of Allah on us. It is not the Pakistan but the Pakistani's who have created this Mess.
Pakistan Zindabad
@Imran749: You mean a few thousand Ahmedi;s can threaten millions of Muslims.How unsure and vulnerable you are!
@shaista: Ignorant people (like you) are the reason why this country is in a mess. I just hope all the ignorant can move to Germany so that the other (more sensible) Pakistanis can live in peace. What if Germany, for example, decides to ban Islamic preaching?! People like you are the first to cry foul and shed crocodile tears!
@Vikas: Ha ha..everyone in Pakistan will become a blasphemous one day.
I worry that Pakistan may not have sufficient number of trees and lamp posts and sufficient quantity of sturdy rope to accommodate all Pakistanis.
@Shera What was the goal for Pakistan??
the blasphemy laws should be amended, if Christians and other minorities residing in Pakistan have constitutional right to freely propagate their religion then why not Ahmadis are allowed to do so. I have known some Ahmadis who are extremely educated and are serving at higher positions at various public/private organizations, they are non-violent, peace loving and moderate at large. Being a Christian myself, they have some false accusations regarding Christianity, but we are always open towards them for a dialogue and debate not only in Pakistan but else where in the world, perhaps Ahmadis were the ones who totally rejected the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, which is the basis of Christian faith, the authenticity of Christianity was never challenged before in these modern times. Following the suit, the other religious sects in Islam should also create an atmosphere for a dialogue through scholarship and research and this is only possible if we educate our people.
Dear Friends, You must all know the reason for creating blasphemy law in Pakistan and to declare Ahmaids as non Muslims. Before making any comment, just know why they have been declared as non Muslims. Because they deny the basic faith of end of prophecy on Muhammad PBUH and they give derogatory remarks about Muhammad PBUH. These things are never acceptable to Muslims as they believe Muhammad PBUH to be the best person in history and anything to disrespect him will be considered as blasphemy. I know many many muslims here will disagree me but its important to know the reason behind this case and the behavior of Ahmadis. They are not only Non Muslims but a big threat to religion Islam. Those who are defenders of West should answer why is it banned to speak against holocaust in the West. Don't be fools. Everyone must respect others faiths and should abide by the law. Thanks
@Shera: Pakistan is not being ruled by those who created. Now Living Pakistanis are looking after its affairs and make laws according to requirement of the time.
Oh ALLAH please save ahmadi muslims in Pakistan from these cruel so called muslims.
@shaista: :)). pity on you.
And Rehman Malik worries about SRK ! What a joke.
People who believe in fairness and justice must decide to face the religious supremacists head on like the liberals of Egypt. Enough is enough.
Confused people, confused nation, confused ideology, confused constitution..... But only one thing is clear - ISLAM..... Thats all...
Pakistan was created as muslims were convinced that they could not live under hindu majority even though they were a few hundred million strong
Pakistan is now in a state that the Sunni majority is refusing to allow others, be them of Shia muslim faith, Ahmadi or any other religion whatsoever.
In the meanwhile muslims do practice thier religion in India and are not targetted. Yes there are deplorable incidents like Gujarat etc. But no bomb has ever gone off outside any mosque and no one has been killed while going to friday prayers. Ahmadi's have thier biggest temple in the world in Delhi
The path is as much important as the goal - for pakistan the goal was clearly laid down by Jinnah (although his speech has since been repudiated), but the path never was (The INC in india had a very clear secular social and economic agenda). And herein lies the faluire in nation building. Pakistan has constantly been searching for the Path. May Allah provide it with its second Jinnah before it goes off the cliff - becuase it it does go down, it will take quite a few with it (and that is why Pakistan, and here I quote Irfan Hussain , has become a master by negotiating with a gun pointed at its own head)
what if all western countries ban muslim publications?
This heinous act to distort the Quran ,must stop.Culprits must be given severe punishment. Those Ahmedis are spreading "fitna".No religion in the world considers this act justified by any means.
If you doesn't agree with something in the book.Then consider refuting it with debate based upon facts and knowledge rather than spreading propaganda material and altering text from the book. Bring in what you've got present it to the world and have the courage face the response.
an other conspiracy theory coming up.... !! America , Israel, India Down Down.... This nation is just mad.
Another victim of inhuman law.
@Misery Ghalib: Cant understand what u want to say _?
The whole country is going to be blamed for blasphemy one day. Its the most common adventure for our society. We have conquered all other fields of science , art and religion. Now this one !
@Vikas: whats so funny?
It looks like the country is fool of JOKERS
Mean there are so many bigger issues in life and you guys are wasting your time on this??
You are already 100 years behind, and working hard to get back to 14th century. Please wake up !!
Ahmadis whether rite or wrong is a debate for many, but in these times when we have such polarized society they should use caution. I know its not fair but thats how it is these days mosques being blown up, shiaites being killed etc etc.
@Yasir Mian:
Is that not enough already that the whole nation is being given strictest punishment by the Almighty for persecution and oppression of humanity?
Hearts are humbled with the fear of Allah SWT when they see people choosing the path of darkness in the name of Islam. Repent and reform before the nation is wiped off the pages of history like the ancient people who were transgressors like this corrupt nation.
@gp65:
A solution for what you have said will come if someday, someone registers an FIR against Don Arsalan for alleged or presumed blasphemy. I feel so sorry for Salman Taseer's family. He was he killed by the person who was receiving a salary from the government to protect him. The lawyers praised and honored the killer for his treachery. His son was also kidnaped and no one speaks for him.
@Bilal: so u want to compare urself with europe,haha, pathetic.first look into mirror.
@shaista: ‘Lets Shut Up’ Would you pls. remain shut up so that this debate remain civilised and rational.
My favorite tweet was by someone who wrote:
“One day I am going to learn Arabic myself, interpret the Quran the right way and then all the problems of Islamic world would be solved"
Pakistan was suppose to be a country where everyone was equal and treated with the same respect whether or not u were a MUSLIM!!?? Are Ahmadis not humans?? Are they not Pakistanis??? The day Pakistan makes rights for every one of its citizens is the day that we as a nation will actually succeed!!!
Society in Pakistan has become an ignorance ( Age of Jahliat ) society.
@gp65: You are right. The SC decision means that no MNA will ever bring anything against the blasphemy law, will speak against it or amend it and any further discussion with regard to discriminatory second constitutional amendment in PAK, against Hindu marriage act, laws against women's rights, marriage age for girls, or land reform. Basically all that is necessary for PAK future is kept out of discussion and only taxation is left to discussion, even though taxation is against sharia principles.
This also means that Aasia Bibi will rot in jail, the judge who gave the verdict against Qadri will never return to PAK, the newly appointed and newly "sanitized" ministry of religious harmony minister Mr.Paul Bhatti cannot speak against the law or ask for clemency or speedy appeal for Asia Bibi and likes of others because it will disturb the religious harmony of PAK, and no president of PAK can execute his constitutional authority in clemency even though every fiber of his body says he should, and the children in PAK will be asked to shut their mouth in the name of religious righteousness when they ask why, and TTP and their sympathizers will dictate terms of PAK policy in the years to come.
Excluding this occurrence, number of cases instituted against Ahmadi Publications under instruction from Government authorities: 64
Number of cases instituted against Ahmadi Publications by opponents: 23
Total number of Ahmadis booked in connection with publications: 282
Welcome to a free Pakistan where books promoting peace are banned/cracked down on and terrorists/extremist factions operate with impunity and freedom!
@rational: Germany, was said as most of the cult finance came from the ir community living there. @Mohsin Sayeed: may not be sunni republic but defo titled as the religion which 'ahmedis' doesnt fall under! @Yasir Mian: As above people mentioned, its their 'Right' and they are 'Respecting' the constituion by distorting, so 'Lets Shut Up'
@Ahmadi Muslim: Feel sorry for what is happening to Ahmadis in Pakistan. Ahmadis may meet the same fate as non-Muslims met at the time of partition.
Ahmadis need to start protesting (non-violently) outside Pakistan embassies and consulates in non-Muslim countries thru out the world.
Can't wait for this folly to devolve to a point where, in Pakistan, any judge or legal official who hesitates for even a second before charging anyone with blasphemy would also be accused of blasphemy! Who knows, before long the a new Pakistani TV show may emerge, called NAME THAT BLASPHEMER! Sure to be a roaring success ( and duplicated on other TV networks) as people clamor to become famous overnight! Shows may even get Mumtaz Qadri to be a celebrity judge, offering tips on how best to kill the accused! Other well know clerics may offer advise on how to use (abuse) the law to settle personal scores and extort money and property from minority community members (kafirs?)!
The larger than life ego inflated with a warp superiority complex on one hand and the daily struggle to survive in this corruption riddle society at the other has stunted the collectively faculty of this nation to reason.
The semi literate mullahs and the self preserving leaders maintain an iron clad control by selling the 'hereafter' to divide and rule, handing the 'jaageer' from one generation to the next.
Only the humble can be open to introspection and self reform. Only the kind and compassionate can exhibit tolerance. Only the open minded can value the idea of freedom of conscience because they believe in the holy commandment of "la ikra ha fiddeen ... there is no coercion in religion". These virtues can not be expected from the self righteous who have the audacity to rule on behalf of the Master of the day of judgement.
If its a law so why sud it be violated ???
@Hopeful: “You are free to go to your temples and mosques” - this I think he was talking to indians not us
@shaista: u wnt this country to become " Talbanistan "
So let me get this straight. As a non Muslim (other than Ahmedi ) if anyone publishes a commentary that does not agree with "Muslim belief" (not sure who is Muslim, Shia or Sunni ?) then the individual will be punished under Section 7 of this law in PAK?
How then the scholars in PAK write different opinions of Sunnah and comment on Quran or are they all writing the same regurgitation or such privilege is only restricted to Muslims as defined by PAK constitution and not to other scholars?
On one hand there is aclear abuse of the blasphemy law- as this example and many others before this clearly indicate. On the other hand, the Supreme court has accepted an appeal against HC's decision to prosecute Sherry under the blasphemy law for merely mentioning that the implemtation of this much abused man-made law needs to be reformed. Which MNA will henceforth have the courage to attempt such reform after such a clear signal by the SC? If anyone dares to question the SC, they will be prosecuted under contempt of law just like Admiral Bukhari was. Remember Sherry was an MNA when she had brought a private member bill for this purpose and she was answering questions related to her bill on the TV show.
@Hopeful:
When will all Pakistanis be considered equals The root cause of the present problems of Pakistan lies with Jinnah. He created Pakistan and the present mess should rest on his shoulders. In 1947 he was warned that Pakistan would be doomed if a separate land would be created. Rest is history.
I'm not supporting any one sect here, but all this shia, sunni. ahmadi , berailwi etc.. nonsense is just to make Pakistan weak. So that we can make an easy target for the unseen enemy (America?Israel?India? take your pick). So please people of Pakistan, forget your differences and unite on what you have in common!!
People @shaista: has spoken. Every one, just shut up, fall to your knees and obey!
@Shaista, your suggestion is not good enough. Why don;t you tell ALL Ahmadis to migrate to Germany. After all this the Sunni Republic of Pakistan.
@ Shaista, Ahmedis do respect the constitution...Correct your records on Who actually formulated the drafts of this constitution, these are your amendments which have led this nation to this very point. Time is near when you'll yourself decry about it.
About your remark on getting the printing done in Germany. Who has given you this right? Do you own Pakistan? Be reasonable
Lastly don't jump to conclusions as the case is still open and there are always more to things than the visibly portrayed truth.
When will all Pakistanis be considered equals?
Land of Pure with impure mindset.
People please realise before its too late. Whats the point in harrassing Ahmedis every now and then. If someone wants to call themselves muslims then let Allah be the judge. Tomorrow if some countries where muslims are in minority start banning preaching or practicing of Islam will we like it. Some of us will even kill people of those countries for denying our right. Please we dont want another prob in this country. Leave Ahmedis alone . Also wahhabism is not real Islam according to many but still no one is saying anything against it.
@shaista: How about making your constitution to respect human rights.And why don't You move to Germany if you find their printing activity offensive.
@Shaista: Ahmadis are citizens of Pakistan, why should they get their stuff printed in Germany? It's like saying You go get your child's notes get photocopied in Mauritius. It's an argument so "dumb" as "dumb" can get. Everyone should have a freedom to preach, pray and live. End of story. You make them seem truthful when you try to hide away their stuff. It's like some criminal trying to hide evidence =)
Quick action by Pakistani law enforecement authorities saved Islam again.
This is only the start of ordeal that they are going to face in coming months and years.
If Ahmedis start repecting the consitution, such controversies can be avoided- get your stuff printed from Germany! -and liberals, please take the debate on from here, on 'fanaticism', 'facisism, 'rights', 'wrongs' etc...
‘‘O Allah, we make you a shield against the enemy and we seek Your protection against their evil designs’’ ~ [Abu Dawood]
Such evil attempts by mullahs to take away from Ahmadis their rights to pray, preach and live can never bear fruit. If they force us to close down our publications, taking from us our freedom of religion, we shall start preaching even more vociferously.
Badly reported!
This printing Press is located in the town where I live. They have also published such material in the past due to which entire Ahl-e-Muhalla was in rage. They have been distorting Quran's translation and we can not allow them to do so. They all should be given strict punishment.
Wow! Looks like people in Pakistan are so stubborn that they keep on committing blasphemy! Do they not follow the news? Is it blasphemy or more of a case that someone has now found something else to label as blasphemy?
Ha ha..everyone in Pakistan will become a blasphemous one day.
Shame on Pakistan state machinary for pesecuting and assisting anyone willing to persecute innocent Ahmadis.And then we lie to the world for for not voilating human rights.How long this country go on with extreme suppression.
Today's Pakistan must be what the dark ages of Europe looked like.
