Compensation: Fuel pumps get alternative sites

LAHORE:

Commissioner Jawad Rafiq Malik has allotted alternative sites through open balloting to the owners of petrol stations demolished to make way for the Metro Bus Service.

The sites were allotted at a meeting chaired by Malik. DCO Noorul Amin Mengal, ADC Nadir Chattha, a delegation of Pakistan Petroleum Association and the owners of demolished petrol stations witnessed the balloting. The owners of petrol pumps and PPA delegation showed confidence in the balloting process. Malik said the government would resolve all problems faced by those displaced by MBS project.
