Four Pakistan cricketers take dope test

Shahid Afridi, Muhammad Yousuf, Shoaib Akhtar and Umar Akmal took the dope test.

LONDON: The ICC and Intrnational Olympics Committee have taken dope tests of four Pakistani cricket players who are currently in England for the NatWest one day series.

Shahid Afridi, Muhammad Yousuf, Shoaib Akhtar and Umar Akmal submitted their urine samples for the tests.

Test players are signatories to an anti-doping code and the ICC can conduct a dope test of any player at any time.

Prior to the 2006 Champions Trophy in India, Shoaib Akhtar and Muhammad Asif were dropped from the team after they were tested positive in one such test.

Secondly & Importantly some 1 couldnt see the fame to which some of young Pakistani's were heading to & it makes it very clear that the distraction was planned & it worked... I still hope & have a strong belief that PAKISTAN is one of the Best & will improve time is a healer but thats what PAKISTAN dont have as ICC WORLD CUP not to far... May Allah (swt) grant our boys the courage & will power to prove themselves... Ameen...
