Budget shopping: Residents want Friday Bazaar back

Protesters blocked the main road of the colony and demanded that the district administration listen to them.

FAISALABAD: Residents of Hakeem Colony on Rajoa Road in Chiniot staged a demonstration on Sunday demanding restoration of Friday Bazaar in their locality. The protesters blocked the main road of the colony and shouted slogans demanding that the district administration listen to them. The protesters said that some influential people had demanded that the shopkeepers and stall holders at the Friday Bazaar bribe them if they wanted to run the bazaar.
