Imaging Show: Canon unveils new products

TOKYO: CP+ Camera and Photo Imaging Show 2013, being held in Yokohama city from January 31 to February 3, has attracted various Japanese companies, particularly Canon. According to a press release, visitors at Canon’s stall expressed keen interest in two new Legria AVCHD flash memory camcorders – Legria HF G25 and HF R46 – which capture and create great movies. Canon also unveiled the digital compact IXUS camera for richer imaging experience along with world’s slimmest long zoom digital compact camera IXUS 140. It launched Canon Power Shot N for creative photography and two Power Shot A series compact cameras. In 2011-12, Canon had won Technology and Engineering Emmy Award for improvement in CMOS imagers, which are used in high-definition broadcast video cameras.
