The election was conducted by the party’s election commission headed by Law Minister Farooq H Naek.
In Punjab, Manzoor Watto was elected as provincial president and Tanveer Ashraf as general secretary.
Qaim Ali Shah was elected as Sindh’s president and Taj Haider will be the general secretary.
PPP Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa president will be Anwar Saifullah.
For Balochistan, Sadiq Umrani was elected as provincial president and Baaz Muhammad Khan Khetran as general secretary.

It is customary in democratic countries that after every election the defeated party chiefs resign and admit defeat. However, in each of the Pakistani political party there are lifetime self-appointed chiefs and would not give up as long as they are alive. No matter how big a defeat of their party their chiefs would not give up the leadership of their party at any cost yet they criticize the other for doing the same.
Fastest Intra Party elections in the history of Pakistan. ECP should check their records and if the elections are not genuine (which definitely is the case here) should ban the party.
@All who criticise PPPP - If PPP workers do not object and are happy with their leadership why you few bloggers feel severe pain in your stomachs whenever there is a news about PPP at ET or other papers.

If this Election means anything then Zardari, his son, daughters & other Bhutto clan must be out of PPP decision making. However since thats not going to happen, hence this whole election is meaningless and just a farce. Shame on PPP for still keeping hereditary kingship instead of evolving into a true democratic party.
A "People's Party" having an election without general people even knowing about it. This is what these politicians mean democracy when they are screaming on our televisions.
