Khyber agency: Mortar attacks kill one, injure 4 in Bara

BARA: A man was killed and four people were injured, including children, in separate mortar shell incidents in Bara tehsil, Khyber agency. An official of the political administration of Bara said stray mortar shells hit houses in Shalobar and Akka Khel. A mortar shell fired from an unknown direction hit Nazir Afridi’s house in Shalobar, killed Jamil on the spot and injured his wife. She was taken to a hospital in Peshawar. In Akka Khel a shell hit the house of Muhammad Shah and injured his three children while they were playing in their lawn. The official said the injured children were shifted to a hospital and one of them was in a critical condition.
