Hockey: Punjab outplay Sindh 1-0

The PAF and Punjab defeated their rivals in the National Hockey Championship at the Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium.

Punjab outplayed Sindh 1-0 as Nasir Naveed scored a goal in the 44th minute.

The PAF and Punjab defeated their rivals in the National Hockey Championship at the Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium yesterday.


In the first match, Punjab outplayed Sindh 1-0 as Nasir Naveed scored a goal in the 44th minute. Punjab got five penalty corners, while Sindh had four — however, they still did not succeed in scoring.

In another match, PAF’s Mushtaq opened the game against  Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa with a goal in the 17th minute, followed by Adnan’s two goals in 21st minute, and 39th minute. Meanwhile, Shahbaz scored the last goal of the match in the 49th minute, with the score being 4-0 at the close of play.
