Across the border, four Pakistanis, including a woman, were released from jail and have now arrived in Lahore.
Meanwhile, Pakistan had arrested 27 Indian fishermen on Monday for illegally straying into its territorial waters, officials said.
The arrests come after a ceasefire took hold last week in Kashmir, following five deadly cross-border killings that threatened to unravel a fragile peace process.
Pakistan’s Maritime Security Agency (MSA) arrested the Indian fishermen and seized six boats, alleging they were 40 nautical miles inside Pakistani waters.

Thank you neighbour for the kind comments :). You are most welcome in Pakistan. You will find out that Lashkar Taiba doesn't represent us Pakistanis.
@ above comments from india,
Its a good sign that you people are also showing some grace and accepting the peace.
We must target Extremist on both sides weather Pakistan or India irrelated to a religion or Sectarian. This extremist and agressive thinking must be replaced by the brotherhood, love and peace on both sides. We only find our selves patriot when it comes to fight against india or Pakistan but we never think about patriotism when it comes to pay taxes, and act as a resposible citizen. Thats the real patriotism we need first.
Let the peace process begin.. Pakistan, India, bangladesh and China can become a most Powerful union ever.
No comment yet. . let me the first one. . A big thanks to govt. Of Pakistan, these fishermen are some very poor and hardworking family people, to keep them in captivity is not a humanity. Hopefully my govt. Reply in same manner. .long live India, and long live Pakistan. .some of the Indian commentators on this website are some useless war mongering fellows. So, just ignore them and keep the peace intact. . Because we have got these nations after a lot of sacrifices. . Increase person to person interaction fb and mails can be a good platform. .

Being an Indian let me say thank you to Rehman Malik and the Pakistani people... what a nice gesture... what a humanitarian gesture... this action will win the hearts of all people of India... Pakistan is a great nation... even though we don't agree with its ideology or founding still there are so many great things about Pakistan... look at the LAHORE-ISLAMABAD-PESHAWAR motorway... the best road in the Indian subcontinent... Islamabad... the cleanest, best planned city in the Indian subcontinent with the best infrastructure... it's my dream to one day drive from Delhi to Islamabad... sadly I don't think that will ever happen... but Pakistani people should let us visit... then they'll see that not all Hindus are bad...
