Benazir Income Support Programme: 115,000 women to be trained

SALAM: Some 115,000 women will be given vocational and technical training under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) in Sargodha district in 2013, PPP Bhalwal Tehsil Vice President Syed Tassawur Hussain Shah said on Monday. He said the trainings’ objectives were to empower women so that they can earn respectable livelihoods and support their families. He said successful candidates will get certificates. The trainers will be hired from credible institutes, he added.
