Any industry that cannot adapt or adjust to market forces and adverse situations is bound to fail. The telecom industry has enjoyed a great run, and has proven its resilience against all kinds of hiccups and speed bumps in the past.

This time around, it is no different. Despite the govt’s insistence that it needs to shut down cellular services when needed to curb terrorism, and the ban on night-time packages, the industry has not only shown its ability to survive, but also shown its commitment to the Pakistan market with regards to fresh investment.

ROZEE.PK recently conducted a survey, across several cities of Pakistan to see just how consumers reacted to the ban on certain packages and possible workarounds. The results are surprising and show just how resilient and adaptable the target market is as well.
