Two primary girls schools and a house were damaged in three separate bomb blasts within the jurisdiction of Badabher police station on Friday.
The government girls primary school in Masho Khel was badly damaged after unknown militants planted a powerful explosive device inside the building. The blast destroyed one room and damaged another, said Masho Khel union council’s former nazim, Faiz Muhammad.
The police said at least 10 kilogrammes of explosives were used in the blast. Another government primary school was partially destroyed in the village of Mushtarzai. The building’s boundary wall along with a room was badly damaged. Around 10 kgs of explosives were used in this blast as well, police said. In another incident, the gates of two houses were destroyed after militants planted a bomb outside Asad Khan’s residence in Sheikh Muhammadi village.
