Family forgiveness: Murder suspect released
It was alleged that Ali murdered Asma Bibi in 2007 during a robbery at her home in Gulshan-i-Iqbal.
LAHORE:
An Additional District and Sessions Judge released a man accused of murder charges after the family of the deceased pardoned him. The judge released Amanat Ali who was accused of involvement in a robbery and a murder. It was alleged that Ali murdered Asma Bibi in 2007 during a robbery at her home in Gulshan-i-Iqbal. On Friday the heirs of the deceased informed the court that they had no objection to his release. The court then set Ali free.
