New entity: Office for record management set up

LAHORE: A directorate of record management has been established under the additional director general (housing) on the orders of Lahore Development Authority Director General Ahad Khan Cheema. A post of director (BS 19) and three posts of deputy directors (BS 18) have been approved to manage the directorate. One post of deputy director (architect), one of deputy director (research and evaluation) and four posts of assistant director (architect) have been abolished. A total of 15 posts of subject specialists have been re-designated as assistant director (BS 17) for posting in the new directorate. The directorate will maintain property record. It will digitalise the property record and take measures to stop fraud.
