The court also ordered for his father, Sikander Jatoi, to be released.
Four other suspects in the case were also sent on remand.
Sharukh allegedly shot 20-year-old Shahzeb over a small argument and escaped to the UAE to evade arrest.
He was captured there and was brought back just today to Karachi where he was presented in the ATC that is hearing the case.
The second prime suspect in the case, Siraj Talpur, is also in police custody.
The Supreme Court had taken suo motu notice of the case after reports stated that influential people were hampering the investigation and arrests in the open-and-shut case.

All of you become very happy because of his arrest but i think all of you forgot our judiciary procedure years will pass and the case will go on and he will be released of bail.
He is not an idiot to arrest himself. In police custody he will be getting VIP Treatment.

Well there is no FIR, and no evidence of involvement in his escape. Its purely circumstantial. Second, if he there was material evidence, why is he released?

A quick and speedy trial resulting in the death penalty is recommended... A police encounter is a better option though since the PPP govt. is seeking to abolish the gallows.

My friend aiding and abetting a criminal is a federal offence. The father aided the son a suspected murderer to escape, you should be SURPRISED as to how Sikiandar has been released he should have been charged and put in jail. I hope this clarifies his arrest. If you dont understand this law then GOOOGLEE IT!!
@Jibran: i have no sympathy for his father or his family. these fuedals behave as if they are above the law. his father was accomplice in providing passport, ticket and further accomodation in dubai.This was the crime of his father.

Its weird how quick the eye-witness reports have changed. First everyone said that shahrrukh was the shooter and now everyone says its talpur?

i have all sympathy for Shahzeb but at the same time we the general public of karachi are well aware of the fact that how Policewala's sons and daughters behave with general public as if they are above the law and can get away with doing anything. his father needs to ask himself being a police officer didnt he ever play with the innocent peoples. These policemen should know that they are not above Allah.
The whole world knows Shahrukh is the murderer. He was screaming his name and his dad's name while shooting the victim! What more will the remand prove?

The trial must be speedy and without break otherwise the wadehras will buy out or make all witnesses vanish. Punishment as per law must be meeted out to those found guilty. Personaly, I would request a police encounter.
First step done, culprits arrested ... now the justice must be carried out with urgency.
