MIRPUR: Local authorities released two recently-detained Indian nationals hailing from Indian administered Kashmir and their local host on Wednesday, official sources said. The detainees were held on charges of traveling to Mirpur without valid travel documents. The two Indian nationals had come on a private visit visa which was valid for Kotli, Muzaffarabad and other stipulated destinations of Pakistan including Lahore and Rawalpindi. In violation of immigration rules they entered Mirpur without a valid visa or No Objection Certificate (NOC). The visitors were attending a meeting hosted by various local Kashmiri nationalist groups to discuss the current situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
