KARACHI:
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senator Faisal Raza Abidi has tendered his resignation from his senate seat to PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Wednesday.

Bilawal will send the resignation to secretary senate if accepted.

Abidi, had previously resigned from the PPP Karachi division presidency following an internal party rift last year.

Despite having influence in Karachi and holding a senate seat on the PPP ticket, he had been sidelined from much of the party’s decision making, having been shut out of the central executive committee.
