LANDI KOTAL: The role of Frontier Corps (FC) has been pivotal in restoring peace in Khyber Agency, said Khyber Rifles Commandant Colonel Fayaz Mughal on Tuesday. He said this while addressing a passing out parade of the Khyber Rifles. He said peace was restored with the people’s support and they will restore normalcy in Bara tehsil in the same way. He said that the FC was being trained to counter-terrorism and that the young men will not compromise on the cause. Fayaz said that provision of education and health facilities to people is their first priority. “There is no restriction on the selection of Shinwari tribe in Khyber Rifles,” he said. Around 113 cadets have completed their training and have also been administered the oath.
