Eid milad security: 12 Punjab districts declared sensitive
Police says they will also contact religious scholars and prayer leaders to ask people to remain peaceful.

Police on Tuesday declared 12 districts across the Punjab as sensitive in terms of Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) security. These are Rahim Yar Khan, Jhang, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur, Multan, Sargodha, Sialkot, Khanewal and Rawalpindi. Police said strict security arrangements were being made to ensure that all commemorations went peaceful. Walk-through gates will be placed at entrances to gathering and visitors will be frisked. In a press release issued on Tuesday, police said they would also contact religious scholars and prayer leaders to ask people to remain peaceful.
