AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed led a huge protest rally representing all political, social, religious parties and refugees from Indian-held Kashmir. The participants of the rally marched to the headquarters of the United Nations observers and presented a memorandum.
Addressing the rally, Majeed said the whole Kashmiri nation stood by the Pakistan Army and the political leadership was united on the issue. “Pakistan has always stood with and advocated Kashmiris and continued its unrelenting support to our nation. Such acts by the Indian forces cannot suppress the voice of Kashmiris and can never bring fear in our hearts, we are with the Pakistan Army whatever the circumstances,” he said.
The memorandum stated that the Indian Army had violated international laws, the UN Charter, United Nations Commission for India and Pakistan (UNCIP) resolutions and the November 2003 ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India. It added that the border skirmishes were an effort to sabotage the ongoing peace process between the two countries. “Pakistanis and Kashmiris are peace loving people, particularly the Pakistan Army which is sacrificing for the peace and security of the region,” it said.
The memorandum asked the UN Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan to take notice of such acts and take serious action by forming a commission under the auspices of the UN to investigate the crossing of the Indian Army across the LoC. It demanded UNCIP resolutions to be honored and respected.
It also demanded a peaceful settlement of the long disputed issue.

@hAMZA: INSHA ALLAH – A DAY WILL COME WHEN NOT ONLY KASHMIR BUT WHOLE INDIA WILL BE UNDER PAKISTANI CONTROL
Why you have to bring God in every thing, Do something from your side. ? There is a saying that ONLY weak persons irrespective of the religion want God's intervention in their worldly affairs.
Gilgit and Baltistan ( which was a part of Jammu & Kashmir princely state till the territory occupied by Pakistan in 1947-48.) is officially not a province of Pakistan . Autonomy of administration is given by Pakistan to it on 29th August 2009. No election ever held in this area ( administered by Pakistan) before being given autonomous status.
@hAMZA: Inshallah! i am proud to live in india, where in government hospitals, they charge only 10rs for counselling psychologically special patients, so u r free to come here, do your diagnosis, and then go... man! move on, kashmir has, india has, and even your nation's liberals have...
INSHA ALLAH - A DAY WILL COME WHEN NOT ONLY KASHMIR BUT WHOLE INDIA WILL BE UNDER PAKISTANI CONTROL
I dont know why a simple mindset change of Pakistanis will solve most of its problems ..Just accept LOC and be content with your side of kashmir and develop the whole of pakistan ..Why fight fight with India for pulling its share and losing whatever you have?!
There is nothing called 'Azad Kashmir'. Its just a fancy name given to it. Its basically POK or Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.
When will the thick heads in Pakistan understand that NO THIRD PARTY wants to get involved in Kashmir. To them, this is a case between India and Pakistan only.
Simple solution for Kashmir :
All Sunni extremist Kashmiries migrate to their nation, Pak occupied Kashmir, forcefully if required.Others ( Shia, sufi muslims and hindu Pandits, buddhists ) remain with India. Loc becomes international border respected by all.
"@John B:May be “Azad Kashmir” should claim independence from PAK as a first step." Free both sides of Kashmir (Azad and Indian Occupied Kashmir) and resolve this long-awaited,long-standing,burning and core Kashmir issue between Pakistan and India and live peacefully, calmly and amicably on the basis of strong, permanent, stable and durable comradeship.....
Inshallah we will not rest until we have freed whole Kashmir from the Indians!
May be "Azad Kashmir" should claim independence from PAK as a first step.
Pak fauj zindabad!!
