Illegal construction: Six plazas demolished in Rawal Town

A survey was conducted to identify several illegal constructions of commercial buildings, saysTMA spokesperson.

Six plazas being constructed illegally have been demolished, the Town Municipal Administration (TMA) of the Rawal Town said on Monday.

TMA spokesperson said the ongoing operation against illegal constructions in Rawal Town has been accelerated on the administrator’s instructions. A survey was conducted to identify several illegal constructions of commercial buildings, he added. A team of the enforcement department, led by Inspector Tariq Yousaf, demolished four illegal constructions in Satellite Town F-Block, Pindora and Saidpur Road.

The spokesperson said they hoped their operations will serve as an impetus to get people to get their building plans approved.
