Threat to education: Boys primary school destroyed

Homemade device was used in the blast which destroyed the boundary wall of the school, says official.

PESHAWAR: The Government Primary School for boys on Shaheedan Scheme Chowk in the suburbs was damaged in a powerful bomb blast on Sunday night. An official of the Badabher police station said a homemade device was used in the blast which destroyed the boundary wall of the school. “Luckily there was no loss of life in the explosion,” he further said adding that the blast created widespread panic among the residents.
