Road accident: Three FC personnel killed in Lakki Marwat

An ambulance carrying body of an FC official collided with a speeding bus en route from Peshawar to Karachi.

Three Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed and one severely injured in a road accident near the Lakki Cement factory on Friday.


ASI Muhammad Zaman of Darra Pezu said around 11am an ambulance carrying the body of FC official Muhammad Munir, collided with a speeding bus en route from Peshawar to Karachi. Munir died in an explosion that occurred near a paramilitary checkpoint in Quetta. The ambulance was on its way to Chapri village in Qamar Mashti area of the district.

ASI Zaman said that after the accident, police rushed to the site and shifted the bodies to the Rural Health Centre, Tittar Khel. However, due to unavailability of doctors the bodies were taken to District Headquarters Hospital where they were kept for more than four hours for postmortems.
