Among the dead was Irfan Khudi Ali a peace activist.
Social media users, after hearing the news of his death, paid tribute to his work, activism and resolved to take his mission of religious tolerance forward.

We have just learned that Irfan has been killed in the Quetta bomb blasts. RIP, dear Irfan. It was an honour to have met you.

Reast in peace Khudi Ali. I did not know you till now and now when I know you, my heart is saddened that we lost you, you were a ray of light in the darkness we are in for so long. I hope all your friends will come forward and run a campaign for you and for others killed with you. You do not deserve to be forgotten Khudi Ali as you were a brave soul and fighting against the evil forces of Pakistan who are responsible for this log term blood shed in the country. Instead of tweeting condolences on Twitter, I would like to see your friends on the roads for justice for you and the cause you were fighting for. I see lot of people criticizing the coverage Shahzeb Khan is getting in media, I think its all because of his friends who loved him dearly and are not ready to forget him. Do you have any friends like them left behind Khudi Ali?

We should remember what was written on Twitter Profile Page of Irfan. https://twitter.com/khudiali I am born to fight for human rights and peace. My religion is respect and love all the religions. Global Citizen. In my view he was not a Sunni, He was not a Shia, He was a Human being first and he was like Edhi who used to say his religion is to respect and love all the religions and we should learn something important from what he said.
I know Irfan Khudi personally and I loved his stance since he used to say that everyone is Hypocritical in Pakistan. He even blamed his Shia Community that despite being a Minority they were in forefront in declaring Ahmedis as Kaafirs and they with Sunnis in Ahmedi riots where hundreds of Ahmedis were slaughtered in Lahore. So his stance was commendable that Humanity is like a religion in itself and He always used to say Pakistanis and Muslms unless will not end the Selective Humanitarian line nothing will come out as Selective Humanity simply means Hypocrisy and all Pakistanis weather Sunnis, Shias or anyother are responsible for this mess.
RIP KhudiAli...You have earned respect and peace. God Willing, we will carry your fight.
