Five killed in latest shooting incident

Five more people have been killed in various areas of Karachi in the latest shooting incidents.

KARACHI: Five more people have been killed in various areas of Karachi in the latest shooting incidents.

Two people were killed and six injured in Lyari as rival groups clashed in the Gulistan colony. Police have identified the deceased as Saeed Jan and Mohammad Farooq.

Police have arrested eight people, who are now being held in custody. The injured have all been taken to hospital.

Shops and markets in the area have closed.

Two people were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Ranchore Line.

In another shooting, one person was gunned down in Usmanabad area of Lyari by unidentified gunmen.

People passing through their life below the line of poverty dying with hungry,law and order situation is deteriorating innocent are being killed by mob in the presence of law enforcement agencies. Crime rate going fast up, every citizen feel no safety he is looted by criminals in the broad day light police has become friendly with them. There is no harmony between center and the provinces when you deeply considered would find disputes and disputes over every matter relating to welfare of the country and people including aid has been given by world countries for people effected by extreme flood and torrential rain and still stranded in the contaminated water infested with poisonous snakes and other insects. What is doing the army in such circumstances, the armed forces doing all the best,there is no comparison of it, world has recognized its efficiency. Pakistan's history is witness,government of general has done better more than elected set ups.

It should bring an acting govertment of hosnest people ato conduct a free & fair election by establishing an independent election commission for now and future. or elections should be held under present supreme court of pakistan.

Sultan Ahmed. | 14 years ago | Reply No power on the earth can prevent Pakistan Armed Forces to come into power. Because politicians has totally failed to run the country toward the right direction. The boat of present set up looks sinking in the sea of corruption,terrorism and extreme floods.
