Absent without leave: Wasa official demoted to grade 18 post
Naveed had applied for leave for one month but the director general had not granted his request.
LAHORE:
An official of the Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) has been demoted for going abroad for three months. Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Ahad Khan Cheema has demoted Muhammad Pervaiz Naveed from the grade 19 post of engineering director to the grade 18 post of deputy director. Naveed had applied for leave for one month but the director general had not granted his request. But the officer still left the country and remained absent from duty from July 18 to October 25.
