Former Chelsea assistant manager Ray Wilkins believes Manchester United would be a perfect destination for Frank Lampard if he leaves Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, according to BBC.

The 34-year-old’s deal expires in the summer and his agent confirmed that he will not be offered a contract extension. Wilkins, who played for Chelsea and United, says the midfielder would have more chance of winning medals at United if he moves.  “He’ll want to continue to win and play at a high level — and there’s no higher level than Old Trafford,” said Wilkins. “You have the master of utilising the older player in Alex Ferguson, so I think it would be a tremendous move for Frank and a good one for Manchester United as well.”
