MIRANSHAH: Six people were killed and two were injured in a US drone strike in the Data Khel area of North Waziristan Agency on Sunday.

Sources said the death toll is expected to rise as the building which was targeted was reduced to rubble.

Drone attacks in Pakistan have increased in 2010, despite a strong voice of concern by the Pakistan Foreign Office terming these attacks as ‘counter-productive.’
