Former player and current Australian batting coach Dean Jones has urged Australia’s inexperienced batting line-up to take on Lasith Malinga rather than letting him dictate play in the one-day international series that is due to start on Friday. Jones believes that playing out Malinga’s overs is not the right way to go, according to the Canberra Times. ‘’Bottom line is if you think he’s won the battle then he’s won the battle,’’ said Jones. “You’ve got to take it up to him and be competitive.”
