Zafar met PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif at his residence where he expressed his support for the party. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was also present at the meeting.
Last year in December, Zafar accused the ruling party of rigging after his nephew lost the by-elections in Naushero Feroze. Zafar’s accusations were brushed aside by PPP officials, who insisted they were present at polling stations to support their candidates and not to rig the votes.
On November 5, the PPP had lodged a complaint with the election commission against Zafar for accusing the party of helping their candidate in his election campaign. Federal minister Maula Bux Chandio had even asked Zafar to resign.

Another example of sham democracy in Pakistan. Its all about me, me and my family. If I am or my family is unable to loot under one party we will move to another party to continue the plunder of the country. It also shows the thought process that the 160million people are stupid and only me and my family are worthy of ruling the country. What's the difference between this sham democracy and totalirism.

Same Opportunistic families hopping from one party to another. In my city of Attock within one family one brother is in PMLn, one in PPP and their uncle have joined PTI and in the end the same political families will rule us forever. All of these people have no ideology and no principles but anyway none of the Pakistanis have any ideology or principles and our Leaders and Politicians are our perfect reflection.
