Restraining activities: NGOs asked to restrict their activities in Mansehra

Police sources says that some organisations have received threats from banned outfits.

MANSEHRA:

In the wake of attacks on NGO staff in Swabi, security has been beefed up across the district and the police have asked management concerned to restrict their activities as much as possible.

A meeting of NGOs working in different parts of the district was held at City police station where the security situation was discussed. Representatives of over 14 NGOs shared with police their work plans, staff mobility plans and target areas where they work.

The police also asked them to depute security staff outside their offices and keep a check on the visitors.

Police sources said that some organisations have received threats from banned outfits.
