KARACHI: Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) and its affiliated institutions, Sindh Madresatul Islam model schools for boys and girls, will remain closed on Thursday, January 3, on account of the chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), said the university’s spokesperson, Anwar Abro, on Wednesday.
